System requirements for LangAgent
Workshop:
LangAgent Workshop requires Windows NT
4.0 with IE 4+, or Windows 2000, or Windows XP, or Windows 2003.
System requirements for LangAgent
Editor:
LangAgent Workshop requires Windows 98/Me/NT
4.0/2000/XP/2003.
System requirements for LangAgent RunTime:
LangAgent Run-time does not impose any limitation; it could be used
even under Windows 95.
LangAgent Standard and LangAgent Premium
There are two LangAgent editions: Standard and Premium. Standard
edition is a discounted version designed for small projects. There
is a limit of 10,000 characters in the message file. If this limit
is exceeded, LangAgent will mark the message file as created with
the trial version and not licensed for distribution. Premium edition
does not have any limits.
Known problems
MFC v7.x (Visual Studio.NET) uses its own code to load resource
strings, it does not use standard WinAPI. As a result of this, LangAgent
is unable to handle these strings. Specifically menu prompts on
the status bar will not be translated. We are working hard to fix
this issue.
Redistributable files
Following files are redistributable:
- LaRTL.dll - run-time dynamic
library (ANSI).
- LaRTLu.dll - run-time
dynamic library (UNICODE).
- LaEdit.exe -
LangAgent Editor. Provide your translators
with this tool. Do not include it into the distribution package.
To install LangAgent Editor translators should
download LangAgent and use "Compact install" option.
